for 490 yards and 17.5 average...


MARCUS DILLON, WR, 5-11, 190, New Orleans, LA (Abramson HS)...scored 10 
tds pass receiving last year along with two rushing..caught passes for 
550 yards and rushed for 400 yards...all-district as defensive back and 
wide receiver...also played TB, tight end and kick returner..also track 
letterman and is ranked among the top 400 meter runners in the nation 
this year...is the current state Class AAAAA 400 meter champion..has a 
best of 46.0 in the 400 meters...helped set a national age group record 
for the 4x400 meter relay
VONTEARR EDWARDS, DB, 5-11, 185, Orange, TX (West Orange-Stark 
HS)....four year letterman in football, basketball and track...named to 
the Class AAAA all-state team..all-district and defensive MVP in 
district...was a state track finalist last year in the 100 meters with a 
10.5 clocking...nominee for Willie Ray Smith award as best defensive 
player in Southeast Texas

AAAAA football championship in 2001 and to the semifinals last

with a 10.7 clocking in the 100 meters
