We arrived in Boone on Friday afternoon after circling around the mountains from Asheville to Boone. The Boone area is as beautiful as advertised, and the locals are as friendly in person as they always have been on the messageboards. A large group of McNeese fans get together at Peppers on Friday night and we have a great time meeting the App State fans.

We arrived at the corner of Rivers and Stadium and commented on the fact that the walk took just about an hour because of all the locals that stopped us to chat, ask questions about McNeese, and in general be some of the nicest people that we've ever met. I got the chance to meet and spend time with some of the App fans that I've e-talked with on the various message forums for about a decade. There's no pictures of them because I was too busy eating and chatting. Thanks, Doug and Jerry!
